5-Stage Effect of Korean Herbal Medicine

Korean herbal medicine
I believe that Korean herbal medicine treatment is the most efficient treatment for autism. No treatments published so far have produced consistent treatment effects for a majority of patients. However, every time I see patients in my office, I witness consistent results in most patients with the appropriate use of Korean herbal medicine.
Why is Korean herbal medicine treatment the only efficient treatment? Because autism is caused by a combination of factors, not a single causal factor. Autism is a wide spectrum of disorders with a variety of symptoms. For this reason, it would not be possible to treat autism with one or two substances or ingredients. On the other hand, natural medicines’ antibacterial and antimicrobial effects work as a spectrum of a combination of many different micro-substances. For this reason, they exhibit efficacy in most autistic children regardless of age or severity.
In understanding the types and efficacy of medicinal herbs for autism treatment, attention should be paid to the following two points.
First, prescriptions of Korean herbal medicines should be adjusted to fit individual patients’ conditions rather than using the same prescriptions for the same diseases. Considering this, the medicinal herbs mentioned here are the ones that are commonly used and are for reference only. For each patient, different medicinal herbs may be added or removed. For this reason, only experts in using Korean medicinal herbs can conduct resultful treatments.
Second, medicinal herbs are natural medicines that are generally safe, but some have a risk for serious side effects and should be used with extra caution. Discussions over the types of medicines used and their potential risks will follow. The more severe the symptoms are, the more potentially risky medicines will be used; hence an expert’s support is crucial.
Korean herbal medicine protocol for autism treatment uses five-stage prescriptions. Initially, it consisted of four stages tailored to the types of autistic disorders and treatment sequences, but later I realized that a 3.5-stage prescription would be needed ahead of stage 4 for the Asperger syndrome type, therefore the need for five-stage prescriptions. When a person goes for Korean herbal medicine treatments, attention should be paid to what prescriptions are used for which stages. The child’s betterment and improvement should be carefully noted to ensure timely progress in the following steps.
Stages 1 through 3 are prescriptions for severe autism treatment. A patient will go through stages 1-2-3 until they reach very stable non-verbal interactions, i.e., removal of the autistic state. Stage 3.5 and stage 4 prescriptions are for children with spectrum disorders. They aim to treat children with mild Asperger syndrome, borderline autism spectrum disorders, social communication disorders, or ADHD.
The patient will go through these stages in sequence to achieve complete treatment. The child progresses from stage 1 to stage 2, stage 3, stage 3.5, and stage 4 to return to a neurotypical state, usually taking approximately two years.
Stage
1
Prescription
Stage 1 prescription primarily consists of medicinal herbs with anti-inflammatory effects and a strong antiviral efficacy. It aims to remove the virus and soothe inflammation caused by viral infection.
The prescription’s first expected outcome is improving sensory disorders by brain stem function recovery, which I call the process of improving sensory input disorder. ‘Understanding the three symptoms of sensory processing disorder’ – input disorder In other words, visual and acoustic inputs are stabilized, leading to increased eye contact, execution of instructions, and response to calling.
The second expected outcome is stabilizing inflammation in the hypothalamus and recovery from autonomic nervous system disruptions. Key observations include stable sleep patterns and dyschezia improvement, synergizing with the improvement of digestion and psychological stabilization.
Stage
2
Prescription
In stage 2, given that the stage 1 prescription is maintained, we have evidence that the medicinal herbs increase brain pressure and blood circulation and significantly improve digestion. The expected outcomes are twofold. First, it vitalizes the cerebral cortex to ensure clear cognitive responses and restores neural damage in the motor area, hence an improvement in execution disorders and significantly better verbal speaking. I refer to this process as an improvement of sensory output disorder. ‘Understanding the three symptoms of sensory processing disorder’ – output disorder It also improves digestion to improve SIBO further, hence protecting the central nervous system from nerval disruptions by harmful intestinal bacteria.
Stage
3
Prescription
Given the correct observation of stages 1 and 2, you can identify an alleviation of autoimmune inflammation. When autoimmune inflammation intensifies, children with autism experience an explosion of brain cells, which makes them go through various emotions and consciousness irrelevant to reality. I call it immersion disorder, and tackling this problem is absolutely necessary for autism treatment. ‘Understanding the three symptoms of sensory processing disorder’ – immersion disorder The stage 3 prescription blocks immersion disorder and helps the child interact based on reality.
Stage
4
Prescription
It consists of medicinal herbs that increase blood circulation in the brain and help vitalize the brain’s frontal lobe. The most expected outcomes are the improvement of concentration and attention and increases in information processing speed. I describe this process as an improvement of cognitive disorders and learning difficulties. As autism accompanies cognitive impairment, the treatment should not merely focus on restoring sociality. Children treated only halfway through cannot escape cognitive disorders and learning difficulties. That is why I explain that the final achievement of autism treatment should be the improvement of cognitive disorders and learning difficulties. The stage 4 prescription is also very effective for ADHD treatment. After all, the stage 4 prescription is incredibly beneficial for treating mild autism with ADHD tendencies.
Stage
3.5
Prescription
In most cases, Asperger syndrome comes with sensory disorders, attention deficit, and comprehensive processing disorders. This necessitated the combination of stage 1 and stage 4 prescriptions, hence the name “stage 3.5 prescription.”
